Yakushima Beach // Open

[Once you enter through the door with an obvious yellow scarf tied around the doorknob, you'll find yourself on the soft, warm sands of the beach. This isn't just any beach, of course, but the beach at Yakushima! For now, the skies are clear of all clouds as the sun shines down and causes the clear, blue ocean to sparkle. It's really a gorgeous sight. ... Unfortunately, it's a private beach so there are no babes in bikinis, but Thanatos can hope that a few babes from the Mall will drop by so he can gaze upon their curves.

He's also currently setting up a small spot on the beach. At the moment it's just two beach chairs, one for Orpheus, along with a huge beach umbrella and a few towels. Thanatos seems really exited as he strips off his shirt so now he's only in black swim trunks with a pattern of little, white skulls. How adorable. ... He then pauses to look at a bottle of sun tan lotion. He remembers his Junpei once mentioning how girls liked it when they had it rubbed on their backs. Thanatos has a mission. For now, though, he's going to set the bottle aside and zoom off towards the ocean. THIS IS SO EXCITING, HE'S BEEN WAITING FOR THIS.

... Can Death even swim? Looks like we'll all get to find out as he splashes into the waves.]

*Shura chuckles, blushing a bit, and steps closer to her, lightly touching one of her arms.*

"The same. What shall we do here?" She turns to look over her shoulder. Er, maybe not what everybody else is doing. She doesn't know much about those games and...activities.

We can swim... pick seashells... lounge in the sun... build sandcastles...

Those activities sound a lot more up her alley. She takes a few steps towards the water and lets the waves crash over her sandal-covered feet, smiling.

*Shura walks in next to her. Contrary to Futomimi, though, she is barefooted.* Not as cold as I thought it'd be...

"I wonder if it has to do with the weather." She rubs her chin, not realizing that she hasn't filled anybody in on the things to come.

Well, it is pretty hot... and so sunny, too. *Shura walks further into the waves, tensing a little at the cool ocean water.*

Futomimi follows her. She can feel plants against her toes, but it doesn't really bother her. She sinks a little in the wet sand with each step, the water eventually rising to right below her knees. She turns to Shura with a rarely-seen peaceful and content smile.

*Shura smiles blissfully at the sight, so ridiculously happy it hurt. She reaches out for Futomimi's hand, then pulls her in gently to kiss her beautiful smile.*

She kisses her back, not a care in the world...for the moment. She wants her prediction to be wrong, but she can see panic and running and a lot of water.

*Shura pulls back from Futomimi as she hears a loud whistle and glares, but there are lots of suspects on the beach.*

"Our behavior is...entertaining?" She seems displeased at that. The idea of two girls being together doesn't bother her at all; she doesn't even blush, which is common for her to do.

*Shura is still scanning the beach.* For some reason, watching lesbians kiss and make love is one of the most popular male fantasy...

"I see." She lets her arms rest at her side, watching Shura. But she turns her head towards the ocean, the wind blowing through her hair.

"Shura...?"

Hm? *Shura turns back toward her girlfriend, attention torn away from the boys on the beach.* What's wrong?

"I see...a lot of water coming. And people panicking for their lives."

... *Oh. Shit.* Water from the sea, or the sky?

"She wraps her arms around herself, noticing the wind picking up a little.

"....Both."

*Shura grabs her arm and gently tugs her toward the beach.* We should get out of the water.

"There are too many people here to warn. Many will be drenched, others will get sick..." Her voice starts to fill with panic. The closer the typhoon comes, the clearer the events. "...No! People cannot stay here any longer." She hasn't seen any deaths, luckily. She follows Shura out of the ocean.

*Shura starts to run, as much as she can in the water.* I know. Let's get back to the mall, quick...

*As soon as she gets on the beach, Shura takes a deep breath to yell.* TYPHOON!!! EVERYONE, RUN BACK TO THE MALL!!! A TYPHOON IS COMING!!!
