Yakushima Beach // Open

[Once you enter through the door with an obvious yellow scarf tied around the doorknob, you'll find yourself on the soft, warm sands of the beach. This isn't just any beach, of course, but the beach at Yakushima! For now, the skies are clear of all clouds as the sun shines down and causes the clear, blue ocean to sparkle. It's really a gorgeous sight. ... Unfortunately, it's a private beach so there are no babes in bikinis, but Thanatos can hope that a few babes from the Mall will drop by so he can gaze upon their curves.

He's also currently setting up a small spot on the beach. At the moment it's just two beach chairs, one for Orpheus, along with a huge beach umbrella and a few towels. Thanatos seems really exited as he strips off his shirt so now he's only in black swim trunks with a pattern of little, white skulls. How adorable. ... He then pauses to look at a bottle of sun tan lotion. He remembers his Junpei once mentioning how girls liked it when they had it rubbed on their backs. Thanatos has a mission. For now, though, he's going to set the bottle aside and zoom off towards the ocean. THIS IS SO EXCITING, HE'S BEEN WAITING FOR THIS.

... Can Death even swim? Looks like we'll all get to find out as he splashes into the waves.]

Huh. Kinda reminds her of Shinjiro-san, sitting there all alone and grumpy-looking. She decides not to leave just yet.

In "my world", the slightest glimpse of the sun kills you on the spot.

Though hey, that peaks the interest. Sun killing you from a single touch means no ozone layer, guessing the future from those little hints.

*Adil finally sits up. A lot of the people that came out to the beach are pale to to begin with, but this man is white. Like he spent years away from the sun. He probably did, too.*

Cripes. Here's hoping it's an alternate world, because having the entire ecosystem collapse in her lifetime does not sound fun.

Who knows... if people had respected the Earth a little more... used is as a giant trashcan a little less... listened to the scientist warning them a little more, maybe it would have changed things. Bought time, at least.

A small sigh, and she bends over a bit, extending a hand.

"I'm Yukari, by the way."

Not exactly the best introduction, but what are you gonna do. She glances over him again, a small smile coming to her face.

"I'm guessing all that stuff explains your lack of swimwear."

Yeah. There aren't much bodies of water left on Earth, either. Everything is dry and dusty. Last I heard, the oceans were drying up. *He smiles a bit.* I can't say I even know how to swim.

"You could still go down and enjoy the ocean. So long as you don't stick your face underwater and stay behind waist-level water, you'll be alright."

*Adil smiles at her. It's good to see happy teens with hopes again.* Thank you, but, I'm good here. I'm gonna enjoy a nice sunbath under a normal, non-lethal, yellow sun for now.

Although... do you know if there is anywhere we can buy drinks? A nice cold beer would be welcome.

"I think I saw a drinks cart further up, actually." she says, leaning to look around the tree. Yup, manned by a Pixie, no less. "And there's a cafe a few kilometres inland, if I recall right."

The drinks cart sounds good. *Adil gets up and sweeps some sand off his legs, then walks over to the Pixie owned cart to see what she has to offer.*
