Thanatos and Orpheus // Private Thread for the Win

[Thanatos is simply standing on the Yakushima beach as it rains, an open umbrella in one of his hands to keep himself from getting too soaked while still a little sick. It was only a few days after the typhoon so the area was a silent wreck of broken shells and crustaceans, the only sound against Thanatos' eardrums being the crashing of the waves against the shore. He hadn't been there too long but he was still shivering as he gazed out upon the ocean through the drops of rain. Hopefully, Orpheus would listen for once and actually come after he hears the message.]

[Thanatos tilts the umbrella enough to protect his head from being hit but his scarf flows in that gust of wind, only to return to Thanatos even more wet.]

I want to know why you've been so upset the past few days.

If it was 'just stress' then you wouldn't mind telling me what you spoke to the other Thanatos about. Thanatos said he slipped to you, "something that he wasn't sure about."

Other than that, he wouldn't say what it was.

That is because I told him not to tell another soul of that matter. It is something that regards me and me alone, and thus is my jurisdiction.

As Death, he shouldn't open his mouth about that! It doesn't make any sense, though. I won't be able to collect your soul. ... So, how is it he knows to collect yours?

... [Just turns from and goes back to gazing out towards the ocean. He gives his umbrella a spin so the water flies off for a moment and then sighs.]

All right. I mean... If you knew... You would tell me.

[He tilts his own forwards a bit to do the same, though it's really only to hide the pained expression he gives off at the other's swords. AUGH MASSIVE GUILT TRIP HOW ARE YOU TODAY. Just two words: A year. Not that hard to say. Screaming them mentally as loud as possible but for some reason his body just wouldn't respond to the command.]
