Thanatos and Orpheus // Private Thead for the Win

[Here's a familiar sight. Ryoji is following Minato like a duckling as they search through the doors that lead to random universes. It wasn't like they had anything better to do other than laze around their new dorm room. They both didn't even own a lot to do anything in the room other than sleep in it. So, out into the world they went.

While Minato was opening one of the doors and peeking in, Ryoji was babbling as usual. After all he talks for both of them most of the time.]

There are so many doors here. I wonder if we'll find a universe with nothing but scantily clad ladies in an onsen? Could that even be possible... ?

[Yes. ... Wait a moment, I'm your boss. You learn your place! Except Ryoji wouldn't command him to do anything. Sigh.]

Are you done with that door? I want to open another one.

[clockstopped]

[Nods, gets up and closes the door as he leaves. Follow~]

[Ryoji chooses a random door as usual and opens it. Other than the zombie incident that last time, he doesn't expect much harm to come from opening each door like they were. So, without any hesitation he peeks into the door and pales.

If one were to be paying attention they might notice smoke, as if it were sentient, slightly wrapping around Ryoji before he slams the door closed forever with a bang.] ...

[clockstopped]

[He's in the same mindset as Ryoji, only really half-focused and not even watching as he opens the next one. But his head snaps up when the smoke comes out. Not because he noticed it, but because of that odd feeling again. Like a heartbeat, or just something pulsing, and an almost-inaudible roar just on the back of his hearing. ... And when the door slams he snaps out of it, staring at the back of Ryoji's head blankly.]

What was that?

[Doesn't answer him. Instead, Ryoji roundhouse kicks the doorknob right off. It flies off pretty far away behind them and is hopefully never found again.]

[clockstopped]

[Jerks at the sound, eyes following the severed handle's trajectory. That's... an odd reaction. Extremely odd. So was it his fault? Hard not to be curious when there's another voice egging you along to do so.]

Master Thanatos...?

It's nothing. [Is silent for a moment - Then turns around to face Minato. Something is definitely off though because now Ryoji's face has darkened and he just wants to get away from that door like whoa.]

Let's go to another door now.

[clockstopped]

... All right.

[Follows the srs bzns!mode boss wherever again, but glances behind while walking. Of course not having a handle would be a good way to pick it out, but it wouldn't hurt to memorize the spot. ...Right?]

[Senses that backwards glance from Minato and stops in his tracks. Ryoji then proceeds to turn around and LOOM over his assistant.]

Don't ever go into that door!

[clockstopped]

[OSHI--LOOMING. Doesn't matter how he does it when you're both the exact same height. Just the fact that he's LOOMING is enough of a mindfuck. Vision unfocuses slightly at his words and it takes a few seconds to register anything past LOOMING WHYYYY-- but gives a short nod and a sigh.]

As you wish, sir.

[At Minato's words he relaxes. He hadn't realized just how tense he had been... So now he sets a hand over his heart and smiles.]

Thank you, Orpheus.

[Aww man why you gotta make that face? So much for sneaking in later. Which does nothing to make the new random head!voice very happy. ... But boss comes first. ♥]

[After a sudden thought:] You feel all right, Orpheus?

[clockstopped]

[Blink. ... Stare.] I'm fine.

... All right. I've had enough doors for today, don't you agree? Let's do something else instead. Are you hungry?

Is there anything else you want to do, then?

[Sleeping. But not like he'll actually ever say that. So just shrugs.]

[Looks tired.] I suppose we can just walk for awhile.

[Walking was always nice. So sure. :|b]

[Okay, walking it is! As long as it's walking away from that door. Yup. Which it is since Ryoji is leading Minato.]

[Lalala following away from the evil door~ Until after a decent enough distance, there's another one of those roars and that pain that comes with it. It's enough to even make him stumble slightly, but recovers enough to go back to walking right next to him. Play it off as tripping after all, god knows how many times he's faceplanted in Tartarus because of it.]
