[Thanatos is currently alone in the Velvet Mall rather late at night. He was tired but lately he could barely sleep at all with the realistic nightmares that occur whenever he had his eyes shut. Anyway, at the moment he is sitting at a table with the Compendium in his arms which he obviously took from Orpheus. He opens the book and leafs through a few of the pages before shutting it with a sigh. How was he supposed to save Orpheus from ceasing to exist when he couldn't even master Persona fusion quite right? He was such a lost cause ... If only he could just switch places with Orpheus. Except Orpheus would never allow that to happen. They both had to exist in the end... If only Thanatos knew how. He just didn't know enough and Orpheus only had a year left before he went back into the Seal.]

Worthless...

[Sighs and sets the Compendium down on the table so he can also set his arms on the book and then smack his head down without too much of a headache. He should really practice Persona fusion more but with Orpheus always suffering because of Nyx, Erebus now faffing about the Mall and his own nightmares of becoming the Nyx Avatar getting even worse, he was just too damn tired to care. What did it matter, anyway? In a year, he'll lose Orpheus and then it won't matter if he could fuse Persona or manipulate reality. He'll always just be Death without his Assistant.]

Can't I just dream of cute girls for once? ... Without having to drown in the hot springs? Ugh...

[Man, Thanatos doesn't know what animal he is anymore. Let's just stick with he's a Ryoji. Also, is at Orpheus' side now and hooking an arm.]

[Well, he's a Shadow, so maybe Ryoji is the breed? And yay arm hook'd :| Does this mean I'm about to get gank'd again?]

[A Ryoji is a breed of Shadow? Good to know. Actually, he's just walking at a normal pace with Orpheus for once.]

[Have a yawn for your efforts. But hey, not being dragged around at breakneck speeds is a nice change. Even if he is getting somewhat-dragged now due to the opportunity to be lazy as fuck. You know how it is.]

[Pretty much ends up dragging Orpheus all the way to the dorms.]

[You were being too slow. Anyway, now they're at the dorms. Thanatos walks inside and proceeds to go up the stairs.] Almost home!

[Jumps a bit at the voice, eh what now oh yo--...When did we get here?] ... Oh.

[Walks up the stairs without tripping for once. Probably, because he is dragging an Orpheus at the same time ... Getting to their room, now! Come on, Orpheus. You're the one with the key to the dorm room.]

[Yeah yeah, I know the drill. Unlocking the door and standing out of the way for you to go first. As usual.]

[Goes right in and flops next to the nearest pile of kittens.]

[Shutting door, locking it, and now to go back to the be--ffffffffff kitten get off my shoe. Stands in place and stares at it. Lineface. :| Off.]
