[Thanatos is currently alone in the Velvet Mall rather late at night. He was tired but lately he could barely sleep at all with the realistic nightmares that occur whenever he had his eyes shut. Anyway, at the moment he is sitting at a table with the Compendium in his arms which he obviously took from Orpheus. He opens the book and leafs through a few of the pages before shutting it with a sigh. How was he supposed to save Orpheus from ceasing to exist when he couldn't even master Persona fusion quite right? He was such a lost cause ... If only he could just switch places with Orpheus. Except Orpheus would never allow that to happen. They both had to exist in the end... If only Thanatos knew how. He just didn't know enough and Orpheus only had a year left before he went back into the Seal.]

[Sighs and sets the Compendium down on the table so he can also set his arms on the book and then smack his head down without too much of a headache. He should really practice Persona fusion more but with Orpheus always suffering because of Nyx, Erebus now faffing about the Mall and his own nightmares of becoming the Nyx Avatar getting even worse, he was just too damn tired to care. What did it matter, anyway? In a year, he'll lose Orpheus and then it won't matter if he could fuse Persona or manipulate reality. He'll always just be Death without his Assistant.]

Can't I just dream of cute girls for once? ... Without having to drown in the hot springs? Ugh...

[Oh no, now they're falling. OOF - ... Hi, Orpheus. Now hold still this time so I can give you that smile. Except his wrist is being grabbed and now Thanatos is going to wrestle Orpheus. While laughing. Now here's that smile! ACCEPT IT, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.] Come on, Orpheus!

[Still keeps a grip an that one hand and now fumbling in an attempt to grab the other one. NO, I WILL NOT GIVE IN TO YOUR RYOJI WILES. Though if you stare long enough, the corners of his lips are twitching.] I said no.

Smile! [Gives him a half smile with the hand that is free.]

No! [Grabs wrist again! YANK AWAY. Just a matter of pride by this point seeing as its getting harder to keep a straight face. But I will not lose to you! So there.]

I see a smile. Except it's all twitchy~ I know it wants to come out! [Laughs and tries to wrestle his hands free from Orpheus.]

Wha--I said no. Cut it out...! [And still trying to keep a hold on you! Even though it fails when he turns to one side in an attempt to bury his face in is own shoulder. One hand free for Thanatos. Brb trying not to catch the laughing disease from you fffff-]

[Uses that free hand to poke Orpheus in the side. SMILE, NOW.]

[Curls up a bit on reflex, a rather indignant noise between a gasp and a squeak. And then back to trying to get a hold of that stupid hand of yours STOP THAT. Oh hey, Thanatos. Looks like your assistant is ticklish.]

[ ... This is the greatest discovery of all time. Proceeds to use an all out attack on Orpheus' ticklish spot. TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE.]

[Gah fuck NO AKSLDJXZCJLKE Last minute flail in an attempt to swat the offending creature away. And? Failure. MUSTNOTLAUGHMUSTNO--PFFFFFF]

[Enjoy Thanatos - your assistant is cracking up underneath you. VICTORY IS YOURS.]

[Once he feels Orpheus has cracked enough from the tickle attack, Thanatos laughs and finally stops long enough to hug Orpheus.] Victory!

[DAMN YOU! Though the loling fits die off soon enough, the subsequent coughs and gasping for air don't. Don't do that ever again. And no response! Though there is some mutter halfway through the attempt to regulate his breathing that in any other case would've been "cheater".]

[More laughter at that. At least Thanatos is successfully cheered up now as he settles down and closes his eyes. ... While still laying on top of Orpheus.]

[A last few coughs, then its just back to breathing heavily as the Thanatos makes himself comfortable. Sits up just enough to shoot him a rather bitter expression. Then exasperated sigh as he just lets his head fall back down to hit the linoleum. Have a hand resting on your head. ... Immediately flipping your antenna back into your face.] Don't do that again.

[Blows at his antenna with a small chuckle. Some headrubs would be very appreciated right about now.] Then just smile more often.... If not for anyone else, at least for me! All right?

[Fine, you get headpets. Why must Death be so much like an annoying cat, OTL.] I'll think about it.

[Headpats. *A*] Thank you.

Mm ... [Already starting to fall asleep with those headpats.] We really shouldn't sleep in the Mall, though...
