Thanatos and Miwako // Private Thread for the Win

[Ryoji felt he had stared at the door of Miwako's dorm room for hours now. He was worried he would knock on the door and she wouldn't answer. If she didn't answer his knock, then that meant she could be gone. It was a thought he didn't want to think about. Still, he couldn't get it out of his mind... The only way to know for sure was to actually knock and find out. He gasped in a quick deep breath, then gave the door a loud knock.]

Ryoji, do you and Orpheus plan on leaving?

Leaving? Well, we'd have to leave at some point... Just not for awhile.

[ ...Nearly freezes when he says that. :| ]

[ The noodles are halfway into her mouth as she stays frozen in that position. Come on, gain some composure... He doesn't want to leave he says, you shouldn't be surprised or shocked about that.. ] When you do, you'd best not leave without saying goodbye.

[ I assume there is an awkward silence after that. Once she finishes her ramen, the chopsticks she used point in the direction of where the 5 would be on the clock. She stands, and brushes off whatever might have landed on her lap. ] I want to do you a favor, before you leave, if that is okay with you.

[Slurps up more of his noodles before he wipes his mouth.] A favor?

... I'm going to try to take Erebus away from Orpheus' body. So he doesn't have to suffer so much. [ Keywords "Try". In the back of her head, she knows it's going to take a ton of research. ] Think of it as a goodbye present if it's successful.

[Looks down into his bowl of ramen.] I know you mean well, it's just that... What you want to try is impossible. Erebus isn't even in his body. It's... Complicated.

... Explain to me when we're both in better health. I want to be able to help him, you see. [ And maybe seal Erebus in a doll or two. ]

I'll explain it to you to the best of my abilities. That doesn't mean you'll be able to help him, though. If anything you'll at least know what's going on.

Sure. [Lifts up the obnoxiously loud cell phone and throws it over towards her. Then he goes back to slurping up his ramen. He doesn't want to have to think anymore about Erebus.]

[ When she slides her cellphone up, she blinks at the text message. ] They tried to burn the Thanatos doll that has Nyx sealed into it, but no matter how much they burn it, it doesn't set on fire, or when it did the first time the flame just vanished. [ Well shit. ] That means she'll be back then.
