Bathe Kittens (Like a Boss) // Open

[The scene is inside the Hisao dorms... Thanatos is walking down one of the halls with a box in his arms. Inside are two of the kittens - However, the poor little creatures are wet and full of soapy foam since Thanatos had tried to give them a bath while Orpheus slept. Except, while he was about to give them a bath, the kittens all escaped and are now running about the dorms.]

... I better catch all of the kittens before Orpheus wakes up and kills me. Haha!

He does not look amused and oh look, it that you coming over?

Looking for some lost kittens, maybe.

So.

Just...floating around as usual, making sure people are asleep, etc. when suddenly, surprise kitten!

He instinctively stops and picks it up - and picks another one which was running after the first. O-oh man, so cute.

...and then he notices that familiar figure standing in the middle of the hallway. With kittens mewing at his feet. So. THE ONLY COURSE OF ACTION? ~~ATTACK~~ Go over and investigate :D

YEAH HI.

Still standing there not looking amused.

[Thanatos spots two Gods he knows surrounded with wet kittens. His wet kittens! He then rushes over as fast as possible with the box in his arms.] You found some of the kittens!

Oh. They're his. Of COURSE they're his.

"We...sure did."

But we're still putting some of the kitten in this box...

...Or trying to...Some of them are quite clingy.

B| Hypnos is not amused at your not-amusedness, bro. He walks closer and deposits the kittens he has into the box - and tries to work on detaching some of the more stubborn ones from his brother 8)

And yeah, not actually enjoying the sight of his brother getting clung to by kittens, nope. :)

"They are yours, Thanatos...?"

Thanatos, Hypnos! Thank you. [Smiles as more kittens are added into the box with the two he had caught on his own. Not all of the kittens were added into the box, unfortunately for Thanatos, but quite a few that he didn't have before were now back.]

That's right. I was going to give the kittens a bath but they escaped before I could do so... That's why they're a little wet.

He stares at you, looking up from the box where he's playing with the kittens who aren't so put out by the fact that they're wet and soapy. "...at this time of the night?"

Oh well excuuuuuuuuse us if we don't like it if our Super Rare Minotaur-Leather Coat of Holding gets ruined and full of cat hair. :|

Wait...

He pauses after depositing the last cat.

"...I thought cats didn't like water?"

[ One can't have a good, nice day out reading without getting some kind of interruption or distraction one way or another. One minute she was deep into the story, and another she was left staring at the sopping wet, mewling kitten before her, trying to climb on her lap.

She sets the book down so it doesn't get damage and picks up the poor thing, her hands already slick with soap and full with cat hair. ]

You ran away, didn't you?

[Cue Thanatos with the box of kittens walking towards where Shouko is sitting with her own wet, soapy kitten. She'll probably hear the small mewls first before noticing Thanatos as he gets closer and spots her with the tiny kitten in her hands.] Hey, Shouko. You found one of the kittens!

[ Turns as she hears a familiar voice, the kitten wriggling in her hold. ]

... Is it yours?

I take care of a lot of kittens. So, yes...

Ah, I didn't know.

[ She stands up and walks over to him, spotting the box of kitten and chuckles. ]

Failed attempt at a bath?

That's right... [Looks down at the mewling kittens inside of the box as they crawl about and try to climb on each other to get out of the box.] Kittens don't seem to like baths!

Not a lot of pets do. Bathing this many all at once is probably a bad idea too.

[ She deposits the one in her hands into the box and watches as it crawls over the other kittens. ]

I've never had any pets before these kittens. It's all a new experience!
