[Takes it and immediately holds it up to slam the spine down on the other's head. Gives a second for him to brace for impact--]

[Fine, Orpheus. At least we didn't get hit with the Compendium... Thanatos waves down a waitress who then takes them to a table where Ryoji flops his butt onto the booth.]

[Just slides into the opposite side casually, dropping the Compendium on the seat next to him. Making sure you don't steal it again oh yes. Then props an elbow on the table to glance at the menu. ... For a few seconds anyway.]

Ah...! [Of course only NOW the deja vu brick hits. Sitting up just a tad bit now, looking off to the side.] This place... How many months has it been again?

Yeah, this is the restaurant we went to when we first arrived here at the Mall! It's been about ... Seven months?

I wonder if that waitress I hit on is still working here now...

Seven months, huh... [Still linefaced, but that's a an internal cringe at that realization. Was it a year from when that conversation happened or a year from when you first arrived? Though finiding him out of the blue just to ask would be unsporting. Also--]

Yeah, seven months... [Technically, wouldn't it be when you return to the actual Velvet Mall? Time doesn't really pass here at the Mall, after all.]

Aw, but the waitresses are so cute here, Orpheus! ...Huh, I wonder why we haven't come here to eat more often?

Hm. [That's if you assume that time is at a literal stand-still, which is neigh impossible, or just moving too slow to have any drastic effect on any timelines, which seems more plausible considering the nature of any area located within the subconscious mind.]
