2. Who knew that he would regret teaching Thanatos how to do the tie for his suit, especially when that tie kept his hands from grabbing Thanatos' still against his neck?
3. "W-What's that," Thanatos had asked when Orpheus walked into the room with it in his hands. Orpheus simply gazes upon his boss for a moment before walking towards Thanatos as a smile forms. "Hold still and you'll find out."
4. It was just a rubber circle which he filled with tap water (Wasn't that what a water balloon was?) so he wasn't sure why his Assistant looked so horrified when he pulled it out and threw it while aiming for the face.
5. As the object of clothing Thanatos cherished most, it made the most sense for it to be the first item off of his body every time Orpheus began to strip him like this. After all, it was always a not spoken contest to see which one would have both their wrists tied up in that long, yellow fabric first.
6. How do you explain to Yukari that the reason he took his clothes to the dry cleaners so often now was not because he found responsibility in staying clean, but because he found it was delicious to have a naked Orpheus below him while he still wore his suit.
7. Who knew the touch of Death would feel so full of life as Thanatos' soft fingers found places outside and even inside his body no one else has ever been able to reach.

1. She wasn't sure how this came to be, but Thanatos had been so sweet to her before that she couldn't say no to such a simple request. So, here she was right in his lap (she knew she could not stop blushing as she felt the heat on her cheeks) while she teaches him how she does her braids.

1. Never again would Orpheus fall asleep after sex without socks. Not when he just awoke to Thanatos' scream of "Someone dropped ice on my balls!"
2. Thanatos had to control all of his willpower not to tackle Orpheus outright as he watched his Assistant lick a rather innocent lollipop while they were out. Still, it was obvious to anyone watching where Thanatos thought that tongue should really be...
3. Thanatos would always remember the first time he was at a hot spring with Orpheus when he had still been alive as Minato. So, even when they were both executed once again for being found on the girls side, he couldn't help but feel the happiest he's ever been for these extra moments he had with Orpheus.
4. It was just going to be an innocent, relaxing time at the sauna... However, they had been alone and Orpheus couldn't keep his hands off of Thanatos' glistening with sweat body right next to him as he went to remove the towel that was his only annoyance.
5. He hadn't thought anything of it when Thanatos sucked at his neck that night, since it wasn't until later the next day that he realized all of the demons had been staring at him while Death had a possessive smirk to tell them all off before they even ask.
6. With their bodies close, Thanatos slid his hands up Orpheus' sides and listened to the adorable indignant noises he usually made when his sides were given such gentle attention. Who knew his stoic Assistant would have such sensitive sides?

2. The electricity was out in the dorms that night but Thanatos didn't mind so much when Orpheus began pulling off his suit and then the rest of his clothes without realizing Thanatos was in the room as well...
3. Orpheus just resigned to his fate when he realized there was chocolate all over his fingers, a wise choice considering that it wasn't long before Thanatos was holding his hand and giving attentive licks to his fingers to remove said chocolate.
4. Even though Orpheus always told his superior the cologne was way too strong on a daily basis, whenever he didn’t smell the concoction Thanatos applied without any remorse he couldn't help but miss the scent when his own face wasn't hidden against Thanatos' neck.
5. When he went to sleep alone, he would always wake up in the middle of the night to find Thanatos mysteriously under the blankets as close as possible to his person. Of course, Orpheus never bothered to scold him when he knew a sleeping Thanatos meant one without nightmares keeping him up at night.
6. The two sat huddled together on the couch with hot mugs of chocolate in their hands and Thanatos' scarf around both of their necks as they watch the snow fall; Until Thanatos wondered out loud when Igor would turn the snow simulator off in the Velvet Room.
7. One night Thanatos was looking over Orpheus' body while his hands were rubbing his sides. At some point he realized he never got to question what a bellybutton was for... He asked Orpheus this important, sudden thought but only got a comment telling him not to stop his hands with such stupid questions.
8. There were tears flowing down Orpheus' eyes as Thanatos used an all out attack on his ticklish spot and between the squirming Orpheus could not control he pledged to end Thanatos' life once this was complete.
9. No matter what both went through at the Velvet Mall their relationship would remain static, Orpheus accepting of his fate to cease to exist and Thanatos always struggling to stop that fate from occurring once they return to their own Velvet Room.
10. This time Margaret had gone too far in using her more psychotic sister against Orpheus, though he really didn't have time to complain when Thanatos was working between his legs as Margaret simply sat aside while doodling the scene into her sketchbook.
11. A sigh escaped as he took a small sip from a bottle in his hands, the sake causing his cheeks to be as pink as the cherry blossoms falling around them as Fusionist and Assistant simply relaxed in the beauty of life.

13. He was about to tell Thanatos for the hundredth time to take his job seriously for once when a finger was put to his lips to silence him before Thanatos gave his Assistant the kiss of Death.
14. Orpheus was now more than fully convinced Death was related to the common house cat when Thanatos took the time to lick his entire face clean of the delicious sauce, even his damn eyelashes.
15. He didn't realize clicking his new ball point pen without any remorse, only utter boredom, warranted an Armageddon from his Assistant. At least he wouldn't forget that any time soon once he pried his skin off of the desk...
16. There was only that horrible white noise in the back of his mind as a few drops of blood fell to the linoleum. Orpheus couldn't find the words to console Thanatos after he had punched out the TV where the image of the Nyx Avatar had been just before his boss went nuts.
17. He had another nightmare, where he awoke all alone on earth to find that nothing was alive and all he could see for miles was the carnage Nyx left behind after she used him for his cruel purpose. Thanatos' only light had been the blue butterfly still remaining at his side.
18. When Thanatos returns to the dorm room to find Orpheus still asleep from his last trip to the Mall, he goes to set the food he brought up into the fridge before laying down with Orpheus and watching his Assistant sleep in silence. It wasn't long before he was asleep as well without the nightmares for once.
19. It was no secret there was a very unusual bond between Thanatos and Orpheus from the Velvet Room. After all, not everyone could say Death lived inside of themselves for ten years before becoming their boss and closest friend. It was hard to top that kind of relationship when it came from a protective Death Incarnate.
20. Thanatos couldn't see through the haze as his vision became steadily worse, until the last he saw was Orpheus reaching out to him with a worried look on his face before his entire world just went black.
21. He simply sat at the table and ate his doughnuts, occasionally licking the glaze off of his fingers until Orpheus joined him and there weren't any doughnuts left to eat.
22. Thanatos had no idea why Igor had filled the Velvet Room full of clams and Orpheus wasn't about to explain to Thanatos that they could be considered an aphrodisiac. Especially since Igor took it way, way out of proportion with the amount they were now buried in.

2. Looks like he was going to be alone in the dorm room again that night, Hypnos thought with bitterness, as he stretched out in bed and laid his head against the soft pillows. For some reason he thought about how his brother would have been softer, however, his brother was too busy with those mortals to sleep with the God of sleep anymore.
3. It was unfortunate that Mitsuru had been changing into fresh clothes while Thanatos tinkered with his cell phone, as it was obvious she wasn't going to believe it was an accident when she finds a nude picture of herself as the phone's background image.
4. Izanagi looked indignant as he spoke, "When did you ever believe this would be a good idea, Thanatos?"
Thanatos looks down at the small tube even as he tries to pry it off of Izanagi's fingers, "Well, we've been wanting to bond, and the tube said it brought 'fast acting bond!' I didn't realize it meant that literally..."
5. He really could sleep just about anywhere he felt like, which was why when Yukari came out of the bathroom, she found Hypnos fast asleep on her recently made bed. Oh well, looks like they were going to be late to their dinner and a movie (Hypnos probably would have slept through the movie, anyway).
6. Orpheus wasn't sure why Yukari was so obsessed with dragging him to the Mall. While he always did enjoy his time with Yukari, Yukari's favorite store happened to be part of a famous line where the mascot was a moose! To top ir all off, one mention of his boss always brought him to give them both a sudden visit... Where he would then be dragged back to the dorms by an overprotective Thanatos.
7. After thawing out, Thanatos and Orpheus huddled under towels and tried to warm their bodies. "What did I tell you about playing that game, sir? ... Especially with Mitsuru at the hot springs with us."
Thanatos just chuckles as he huddles closer to Orpheus, "I know - Yet, I couldn't help it with an opening like that!"
