Thanatos and Orpheus // Private Thread for the Win

[When the pageant was over, Thanatos didn't bother to stick around any longer than he had to. Ameno-Sagiri's words still boomed in the back of his conscious as if the other Shadow was still right there. To Thanatos, anything that was once familiar made no sense. Just when he finally began to accept he was Death... More had to happen that would cause him to feel uncomfortable about his existence. Was his heart really nothing more than just a lie? He had been so happy at the pageant. Yet, it seems happiness was only temporary when you were Death incarnate. So here Thanatos was, all alone, with a serving of unagi don in his hands to try and settle his stomach. Unfortunately, the sweet taste of eel wasn't making him feel any better. A glance outside then made him feel even worse. The fog was still in sight.]

... Lies hurt just as much as the truth? Yeah, right.

For me, it is. [Have another hug, but not the LOL SPINE BREAKING from before, and simply rests his chin atop the other's head before burrying his face in his hair. Stop making me worry about you damnit.]

[Strokes his hair absently while he starts wibbling again, somewhere in the back of his mind realizing how easily their position could be mistranslated by onlookers. Though either doesn't care or don't notice, too busy trying to comfort him while speaking softly.]

I don't know exactly... however long I would have lived for normally. At least another fifty for sure...

[Rubs his face against Orpheus' chest with a sniff. Thanatos even tries to smile, though it's a little weak.]

So we have time to enjoy our lives together. Right?

[Smiles back slightly as well. A bit sad, but who can really help that.]

[YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT, ORPHEUS. Anyway, Thanatos releases Orpheus from his spine crushing hug and is now using Orpheus' chest as a pillow to lean on. So very comfortable!]

[Suddenly wants to hit you. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS? Must be a female thing, but restrains it nonetheless. Have some headpets.]

[That's why he's not doing anything. Thanatos is the only one who gets to sleep on the new pillows. Special privileges and all that.]

[Cuddles up and closes his eyes. All that angst has made him exhausted, so he's going to be trying to take a nap. Feel free to keep him awake.]

[Wants to let you sleep, but trying to carry him back to the dorms afterwards... probably wouldn't work like this, huh? Not to mention..... o-orz. Attempts to shift so he falls asleep on the bench and he can escape.]

[Mentally sputters for a moment DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE ASKING FFFFFFFFFF- ...... G-god you're lucky you just got over being emo or you'd be getting throttled again.]

[Gets up before quickly walking off, clicking heels echoing in the hallway again. Assuming Thanatos is following again, what with his head bowed in shame again. Dear god this is going to be embarrassing as all hell.]

[Follows after Orpheus, that unagi don back in his arms. He wonders if it's still edible... Eh, of course it is! It's just a little room temperature now. Thanatos eats while he walks.]
