Yakushima Beach // Open

[Once you enter through the door with an obvious yellow scarf tied around the doorknob, you'll find yourself on the soft, warm sands of the beach. This isn't just any beach, of course, but the beach at Yakushima! For now, the skies are clear of all clouds as the sun shines down and causes the clear, blue ocean to sparkle. It's really a gorgeous sight. ... Unfortunately, it's a private beach so there are no babes in bikinis, but Thanatos can hope that a few babes from the Mall will drop by so he can gaze upon their curves.

He's also currently setting up a small spot on the beach. At the moment it's just two beach chairs, one for Orpheus, along with a huge beach umbrella and a few towels. Thanatos seems really exited as he strips off his shirt so now he's only in black swim trunks with a pattern of little, white skulls. How adorable. ... He then pauses to look at a bottle of sun tan lotion. He remembers his Junpei once mentioning how girls liked it when they had it rubbed on their backs. Thanatos has a mission. For now, though, he's going to set the bottle aside and zoom off towards the ocean. THIS IS SO EXCITING, HE'S BEEN WAITING FOR THIS.

... Can Death even swim? Looks like we'll all get to find out as he splashes into the waves.]

"I'll bet! It'll be nice to go back to Kyoto...they have some great hot springs where we're gonna stay, I hear."

Hopefully Minato will do the sensible thing in her world and, you know, let them know they're still in the springs and avoid the whole incident.

A glance around and a small laugh, noticing Orpheus now involved in his headphone tug-of-war with the kitty.

"But I guess this'll have to do."

HAHA I KNOW. Then the girls would have been all "OOPS."

[Twirls in the water for a moment as he watches a wave hit his kneecaps. ... That's strange, he didn't remember walking in so deep!]

CRISIS AVERTED. But I wouldn't be laughing hysterically at that.

She wobbles slightly as a wave hits her, too; geez, any deeper and her shorts would start getting wet...hmm.

"Hey, Thanatos?"

[OH SHI- Is shoved into the water with a splash! He flails and sputters for a moment before he grabs Yukari's arm and tugs her right down with him. Take that!]

Gahhh, not as planned! She faceplants spectacularly, scrambling back up as soon as possible. Great, now her hair's lost all its bounce, hanging down limpy with her sunglasses sitting askew on her head.

"Thanatos!"

[Man, salt water? It tastes so disgusting!]

[FLAILS. Then tries to spit out all of the salt water taste out of his mouth. Grossgrossgross...]

It's like Orpheus is right here with you! She pulls you up now and stumbles back, giving him a flat look with her hair plastered down around her face.

[There's a moment of silence. Then... Suddenly, he laughs.] That was fun!

...pfft. What does it take to rattle you? She sighs, pushing some hair out of her face.

"I guess. C'mon, let's get back to the beach. I need to dry off."

All right. [Proceeds to follow Yukari out of the ocean even as he shakes water out of his short hair. It's going to be so salty for days!]

If Orpheus is still awake, we can has some triple trouble?

Not to mention the sand. Sand everywhere. She finds her towel and starts drying her hair. It'll be flat, but at least it won't be flopping in her face. She shoots a glance over to the umbrella again; Orpheus seemed to be sleeping again.

We both went to sleep but she can jump in for sure when she wakes up :3

[Thanatos heads for his own towels which are, of course, over by the sleeping Orpheus. Feel free to follow since Thanatos is suddenly sitting on a towel and trying to bury Orpheus' feet in the sand now.]

Sounds like a good plan. She manages to dry her hair and get it to something approaching managability then takes her stuff over there, plopping down on Orpheus' other side.

[Still works on burying Orpheus' feet. Pats the sand flat and then continues to pile more sand onto his legs.]

Let's see how much we can bury him before he wakes up!

"Oh yeah, I'm sure he'd appreciate that." Snrk. Poor guy, looks so peaceful right now...better pat down that sand around his feet a little more.

Oh, he will. [Laughter to go with that pat from Yukari. Now he gets to tag team with her to bury the poor, unsuspecting Orpheus. Oh well, more sand is being dumped on that growing pile there.]

She'll be nice and stops when it gets halfway to his knees. Not like the poor guy needs more harrassment. She glances up at Orpheus' face, dozing peacefully away.

"...he really does look tired, huh?"

He looks a lot better now after some rest here. Staying at the Mall so long without a break was making him sick. I was really worried about him... That's why I dragged him to this beach.
